Cindy Raskin Rocco understands the realities of getting older. Nonetheless, to mark a milestone birthday she celebrated by enrolling in law school. “It was something I always wanted to achieve and I didn’t want to look back on my life with any regrets.” She advises her clients to do the same when approaching their estate planning. “Take action now, so you don’t look back and wish you could change the way the story was written.”

Over a decade after launching her new career, Cindy’s “no regrets” policy inspired her to establish her own law practice, concentrating in elder law and special needs, estate planning and asset protection, estate administration, Medicaid planning and Article 81 and 17-A Guardianships. A trusted attorney, Cindy works hard on behalf of her clients to provide them with information in order to make the best decisions specifically tailored to their needs, whether it is for an estate plan or to provide long term care for a loved one.

Cindy graduated cum laude from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. She is a member of the New York State, Nassau County and Suffolk County Bar Associations and the Nassau County Estate Planning Council. She has served as a Part 36 appointee as Court Evaluator, Counsel for Alleged Incapacitated Persons and Supplemental Needs Trustee, as well as Court appointed Guardian ad Litem in Nassau and Suffolk County Surrogate’s Court proceedings. She currently serves as co-chair of the Suffolk County Elder Law Committee and has lectured on trusts, estates and elder law topics for the Suffolk County Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee and various community groups.

Cindy lives on Long Island with her husband and two rescue dogs. In addition to the practice of law, Cindy enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren and extended family.
